Amazon has been maintaining and developing Amazon Web Services (AWS) since 2006. AWS is a commercial public cloud service that offers a range of services to its subscribers, including infrastructure models like virtual servers and storage resources, and platform-level services like cloud databases, cloud middleware, cloud serverless computing, and development tools.

AWS operates in several geographically dispersed data processing centers, which are grouped together by geographic proximity and referred to as “regions.” Within each region, several “availability zones” ensure the high availability of hosted services. AWS’s main features include computing, storage, security, data analysis, artificial intelligence services, and an Internet of Things platform.

At RiseServ, we partner with AWS to utilize their services for various projects, such as web applications, infrastructure, and testing.
